Rob Jabbaz to Direct ‘Crossed’

If you see a cross-like rash on someone’s face…run!

Rob Jabbaz (The Sadness) will helm the comic book adaptation of Crossed, according to a report on The Hollywood Reporter.

The synopsis of the first Crossed graphic novel read “Imagine, for a moment, the worst crimes against humanity. Picture the cruelest affronts to decency. Conjure your darkest nightmares… and then realize it could all be so much worse. When civilization crumbles in one terrifying moment; when people are gleefully breaking into unthinkable acts of violence all around you; when everyone you love has died screaming in agony: What do you do? There is no help. There is no hope. There is no escape. There are only the Crossed.”

“It has been a real delight working with Garth Ennis and Six Studios developing Crossed for the big screen,” said Jabbaz. “From day one, our primary goal has been to deliver a faithful adaptation of the original series, along with a few new surprises. I certainly hope audiences are ready for this.”

The film is hoping to begin production in March. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for more on Crossed.
