Bleiberg Entertainment, a Beverly Hills production and international sales company formed by veteran film producer Ehub Bleiberg, today announced that ‘Maniac’ director Franck Khalfoun new project ‘i-Lived’ has been greenlighted and shooting has started in Los Angeles this month. Written and directed by Franck Khalfoun, ‘i-Lived’ is a techno-thriller, where a young online app reviewer’s latest assignment mysteriously improves his life, but also starts to tear him apart, bringing his existence into a downward spiral.
Franck Khalfoun recently received the Stanley Film festival very first feature film audience award for his ’Maniac’ directing credit, a reboot of the cult 1980 serial killer movie featuring Elijah Wood and produced by Thomas Langman. Khalfoun’s directorial debut was the thriller ‘P2’, featuring Wes Bentley and Rachel Nichols, which he co-scripted with Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur. The film received critical acclaim and it was Summit Entertainment's first release as a major studio. Subsequently, he directed ‘Wrong Turn at Tahoe’, starring Cuba Gooding Jr and Harvey Keitel, a mobster drama which further confirmed Franck’s talent as a director with a dark and edgy style.
