AMC Celebrates A24’s ‘Saint Maud’ With Film Series Featuring ‘The Exorcist’, ‘Rosemary’s Baby’, and ‘The Conjuring”

AMC Theaters is planning a horrifying lead-in to A24’s highly anticipated demonic tale Saint Maud by screening three classic religious-themed horror films that include The Exorcist, Rosemary’s Baby, and The Conjuring for their She is Risen event.

AMC is framing the horror event as a celebration of “…a handful of the female-fronted horrors that have haunted us for years.  She Is Risen is a four-week event you won’t want to miss, with classic horrors back in theatres and an early screening of Saint Maud on April 1.”

The director’s cut of The Exorcist kicks off the series on Friday, March 13, followed by Rosemary’s Baby on Friday, March 20, and The Conjuring on Friday, March 27.  As stated above, Saint Maud will screen early on Wednesday, April 1 before opening wide on Friday, April 3.

Saint Maud is the debut film from writer-director Rose Glass and features a devout hospice nurse named Maud who puts all of her efforts into  saving a dying patient’s soul, which naturally attracts some demonic interference.

Be sure to check back in April for a review of Saint Maud.
