Fans of Castle Crashers, prepare your ears for an epic score in Ironzilla's upcoming side-scrolling action RPG, Zombocalypse. Ironzilla, an independent game development startup based in San Francisco, is having the soundtrack of their first mobile game being created by Symphony of Specters (SoS). They are an award winning team of seasoned composers and sound designers who have done work on over 200 games and have worked with companies such as Marvel, Coca-Cola, Disney, and Nickelodeon. Symphony of Specters' past work on critically acclaimed indie game, Castle Crashers, catapulted them into notoriety, producing iconic soundtracks such as the main menu theme song "Four Brave Champions." Tom Fulp, CEO of Newgrounds and co-creator of Castle Crashers says, "The music created by the Symphony plays a prominent role in the Xbox Live Arcade game Castle Crashers. It would not have been the same experience without those tracks!" Taking place amidst the zombie apocalypse, Zombocalypse's soundtrack will feature both orchestral and ambient scores, all intricately tailored to immerse the player in it's frantic arcade style action. Just like with Danny Baranowsky's work in Super Meat Boy, and Jim Guthries music in Sword & Sworcery EP, the soundtracks produced by SoS will be promoted as an album.
