This is truly the class trip from hell.
Unhuman–the latest collaboration between Blumhouse Productions and Epix–will be available on digital June 3, and a bloody trailer dropped this week to tease the gory mayhem to come. Check out the video–courtesy of fictionhorizon.com–on this page.
The zombie entry–directed by Marcus Dunstan from a screenplay he wrote with Patrick Melton (collaborators on Saw and The Collector franchises)–stars Brianne Tju (I Know What You Did Last Summer), Benjamin Wadsworth (Deadly Class), Uriah Shelton (Freaky), Ali Gallo (The Carpool) and Peter Giles (Into the Dark).
The storyline follows a high school field trip “gone bloody awry,” according to the synopsis. “Seven misfit students must band together against a gang of unhuman savages.”
The group’s trust in each other is “tested to the limit in a brutal, horrifying fight to survive. They must take down the murderous zombies…before they kill each other first.”
