The Deep Web: Murdershow–a new bloody horror thriller–has been acquired by XYZ Films, according to a report on Variety. No release window has yet been announced. Check out the first-look image on this page.
The feature–from writer/director Dan Zachary (Mortal Remains)–follows “a journalist’s search for clues to his sister’s murder that leads him to a disturbing crypto currency website inside the deep web called The Murdershow. As those close to him disappear, he must find and stop this reign of terror.”
The cast is led by Josh Blacker, who plays the detective trying to unravel the mystery; Aiden Howard as the journalist; and Kimi Alexander as a woman ensnared by the murderous group behind the website.
