The latest entry in the Scream film franchise–from Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media–slashes its way into theaters March 10. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillette are again in the director’s chairs and James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick again penned the screenplay.
The film follows the survivors of the last Ghostface killings as they travel to Manhattan from Woodsboro, only to see Tara suffer through psychological breakdowns–while seeing ghosts of past killers, according to the synopsis.
Making matters worse, Tara’s sister Sam tries to manipulate her by pretending to be Ghostface, and “three masked killers appear on the scene–posing the question of who will survive and who will be the final victim.”
Legacy stars Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding are back for more slicing and dicing, with newcomers Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny getting their baptism by fire.
