‘When Evil Lurks’ Heads To Big Screen, Shudder In October

When Evil Lurks–an Argentinian horror flick that will have its world premiere at next month’s Toronto Film Festival–has an October debut set for theaters and Shudder, according to a report on Deadline.

The film–from writer/director Demian Rugna (Terrified)–stars Ezequiel Rodriguez, Demian Salomon, Luis Ziembrowski, Silvia Sabater and Marcelo Michinaux. The feature will hit the big screen Oct. 6 before landing on Shudder Oct. 27.

The Shudder Original follows two brothers who find a mutilated corpse near their property and who “soon learn that the odd happenings in their village are caused by a spirit that has found its way int a local man. The brothers then must race against imminent danger to shake the spirit’s relentless clutches.”
