‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Wraps Shooting Season 4

by Thomas Tuna

Get ready for another season of vampire hijinks.

Harvey Guillen–who stars as Guillermo on the hit FX horror/comedy What We Do In The Shadows–this week revealed that Season 4 of the show is a wrap, and posted an appropriate image on his Instagram account to drive home that point. Check out the photo, courtesy of collider.com, on this page.

Fans will recall the cliffhanger-type ending of Season 3, with the Staten Island-based vampires all off on their own voyages, so what will Season 4 have in store for them? Almost nothing is known about the upcoming season to this point, so–with no specific 2022 debut announced–the waiting game is on.

The series–led by showrunners Paul Simms and Stefani Robinson–follows vampire roommates Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Nastasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry) and Colin (Mark Proksch) “as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island” with the help of their human familiar Guillermo (Guillen).

The show–based on the 2014 film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi–has already earned 10 Emmy Award nominations–including one for Outstanding Comedy Series–and a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Comedy Series.
