“So, tell us everything.”
The much-anticipated second season of the hit Netflix series Wednesday is expected to start shooting by the end of this year for a 2024 debut, and a new video dropped this week with star Jenna Ortega and other cast members speculating on several theories about the adventures that may (or may not) unfold. Check out their discussions on this page.
The show–based, of course, on the classic ’60s The Addams Family TV series–reportedly will shy away from any Season 2 romantic entanglements and concentrate on horror elements. “We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror aspects of the show a bit more,” Ortega said. “And we’re ditching any romantic interests for Wednesday.”
Wednesday–led by executive producer and director Tim Burton and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar–has so far followed the Addams teenager at Nevermore Academy, as she masters her newfound psychic ability and solves a 25-year-old supernatural mystery.
