Watch ‘Jurassic World’ Cast Discuss Famous Franchise

by Thomas Tuna

Jurassic World Dominion–according to its director–will be a “scary-as-hell adventure.”

Colin Trevorrow is just one of the cast and crew who open up about the latest entry in the mega-franchise in a new featurette released this week. Check out the video–courtesy of movieweb.com–on this page.

In the entertaining clip, both current cast members and legacy stars returning for the upcoming blockbuster reveal what the film means to them and the impact it likely will have on fans. That impact will be felt starting June 10 when Dominion thunders into theaters.

This “culmination of the franchise”–helmed by Trevorrow from a screenplay he wrote with Emily Carmichael–takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed, according to the logline, and dinosaurs now live–and hunt–alongside humans all over the globe.

“This fragile balance,” according to the official synopsis, “will reshape the future and determine whether humans remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.”

Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Omar Sy, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Jake Johnson, Scott Haze, Campbell Scott and Dichen Lachman–along with the returning trio of Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park.

Trevorrow has said this film is “the one we have spent the last two movies building to. It really was part of a larger story–and part of the design.”
