The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – Isolation
Synopsis: One group leaves the prison in search of supplies, while those who stay behind try to preserve what remains.
Thoughts: *WARNING SPOILERS* This week’s episode of The Walking Dead started off like a punch in the face, literally! The fierce battle between Rick and Tyrese was intense and started off the show with a bang. With the unidentified “body burner” still unknown, the virus now spreads at a rapid and uncontrollable rate. Besides Sasha, we see the beloved Glenn come down with it.
There are some very deep scenes where we see some more growth and evolution of characters like Carl, Beth, Daryl, and Carol. Don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of action for you gore whores out there. The “walker speed bump” was fantastic and the battle that ensued after is classic Walking Dead.
Here’s the real spoiler. As we’ve seen the complete transformation of Carol’s character from the first season, we know see her as a total survivor by any means necessary. Carol is the mystery prison resident who killed the sick and burned their bodies. Yes really!!!! Carol! This proves Walking Dead has not skipped a beat in the shock and awe factor whether it is blood and gore or just surprise twists and turns in the brilliant writing. See ya next week!
