Venom 3–the next entry in the Marvel/Sony horror/super-hero franchise–is expected to resume shooting as soon as possible before the end of the year, now that the actors and studios have resolved their labor dispute, according to a report on Deadline.
But, due to the recent shutdown, the film’s theatrical release has been bumped back to Nov. 8, 2024 from the previously announced July 14 date.
The feature–which has had its plot details shrouded in mystery so far–is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote with returning star Tom Hardy (Eddie Brock/Venom). Rounding out the cast are Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple.
