by Rob Caprilozzi

Eion Bailey has landed a lead role opposite Harold Perrineau in Epix’s upcoming horror series From. Bailey, according to Deadline, will play Jim Matthews, who, along with his wife, is struggling in the aftermath of a personal tragedy and suddenly finds himself and his family trapped in the town.

According to the source, From will focus on a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.

Bailey’s film resume includes landing roles on Fight Club, Almost Famous, Mindhunters, Life of the Party, and The Canyon. His television roles have seen him appear on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawson’s Creek, Band of Brothers, ER, CSI: NY, Covert Affairs, 30 Rock, Ray Donovan, and The Stand.
