More victims for the monsters?
The upcoming (and still untitled) Universal Pictures monster entry is piling up cast members on an almost daily basis, with four more names just added, according to a report on Deadline.
Kevin Durand (Resident Evil: Retribution), Kathryn Newton (Paranormal Activity 4), Angus Cloud (Euphoria) and Will Catlett (The Devil You Know) have joined Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir and Dan Stevens in the film that now has an April 19, 2024 theatrical release date.
The horror pic will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by Stephen Shields (with help from Guy Busick).
Plot details are still shrouded in secrecy, but reports have said the film will offer “a unique take on legendary monster lore and a fresh direction for how to celebrate these classic characters.” The project reportedly had once been titled Dracula’s Daughter--but only time will tell what that may mean.
