More mysteries await.

Volume 3 of Unsolved Mysteries–the reboot of the classic original series that began on NBC in 1987 before moving to CBS, Lifetime and then Spike through 2010–will kick off on Netflix Oct. 18, with subsequent episodes landing Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, according to a report on Deadline.

This third installment of the popular series will feature more “unexplained disappearances, tragic events and bizarre occurrences,” according to the logline. In the show, detectives, journalists and family members will offer “intriguing theories” to explain the mysteries.

Terry Dunn Meurer from Cosgrove/Meurer Productions and Shawn Levy and Josh Barry from 21 Laps Entertainment will serve as executive producers of the series.

The first two volumes included such compelling stories as a strange death in Oslo, tsunami spirits in Japan and UFOs in Massachusetts.
