Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Offers ‘Stranger Things’ Inspired Treats

by Nick Banks

If you will be attending Universal Orlando or Universal Hollywood’s annual Halloween Horror Nights this year, you will not only be able to walk through a house inspired by Stranger Things, you’ll also be able to indulge in some sugary treats that are guaranteed to turn your taste buds “upside down”.

Attendees will have many snacks and drinks to choose from including over five different desserts that naturally feature waffles including a Strawberry Shortcake waffle, a Bananas Foster waffles, a “triple decker extravaganza” (three waffles stacked to the ceiling filled with whipped cream and candy), fudge-dipped waffles on a stick, and a waffle ice cream pocket sundae.

You can also indulge in a Christmas Tree Lights cupcake (pictured above) or “11 mini-donuts”(which look like they been directly pulled from the Upside Down).

If you are looking for something a bit more substantial, you can always stop by Benny’s Burgers for some of that kind gentleman’s grilled sandwiches (and why wasn’t there ever a “Justice for Benny” campaign?  He was just as an important as any other minor character on the show).

Check out the full array of pictures to drool over at the official HHN site and be sure to get you tickets early for this event, as Halloween Horror Events is already a tough ticket to secure even without all of these tempting snacks from one of the most popular television programs in recent years.

Halloween Horror Nights begin on September 14 and continues on September 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, October 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, and November 1 , 2, 3. Most of these 34 dates fall on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, or Saturday. The special event does not take place on Mondays or Tuesdays this year.
