For the average person, February may be too soon to start planning for Halloween, but for horror fans the real question is: what took you so long?!?
To help satisfy these eager fans, Universal Studios Orlando has just announced dates for their annual Halloween Horror Nights beginning on September 6 and running through November 2, nearly a week earlier than last year’s start. There are also more dates this year, expanding from 34 nights to 41.
The full list of dates include: September 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and October 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, and November 1 , 2 . Most of these 41 dates fall on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, or Saturday. There are no Mondays and only one Tuesdays available.
If you looking for an early bargain, Universal is also offering a Buy One Get One Free offer through June 5 on select dates (pretty much every day but Saturdays). The offer gets you a free ticket for an additional night’s visit.
Last year’s houses that were based on horror films and series included: Stranger Things, Poltergeist, Child’s Play: Revenge of Chucky, Halloween 4, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
