Universal Pictures in talks for Bethlehem

Variety reports that: Universal Pictures is looking to stay in business with "Snow White and the Huntsman" producer Joe Roth, as the studio is in negotiations to acquire Larry Brenner's supernatural spec script "Bethlehem," which Roth Films is producing. Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who served as VFX supervisor and second unit director on "Huntsman," is attached to make his directorial debut with the pic, which Roth will produce with Palak Patel. Story follows a group of humans who turn to an unlikely ally to protect them from harm and shepherd them to a safe haven in Bethlehem, Pa.
