Unearth The Curse Next Month With ‘Burial Ground Massacre’

by Jen Bernardini

For horror fans, the calendar always reads October and Halloween–even in the sweaty grip of summer–so it’s always the right time for a scary movie.

And a new horror entry–Burial Ground Massacre–is right around the corner. VMI Releasing will unveil the new film on-demand Sept. 3, as reported by moviesandmania.com.

The movie–directed by Daniel Dahlstrom and Davide Gere from a screenplay by Gere and Eric Weinstock–stars Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), Chelsea Vale (Vault), Vinny Marseglia, Travis Gordon and Gere.

Burial Ground Massacre follow a group of college students as they fall into the oldest trick in the book for a horror flick: They spend the night in an old, eerie mansion. Of course, they find out they’re not alone in the house. A crazed stalker makes life miserable for them as he looks to get his hands on an ancient Indigenous American artifact.

In a move of unusual optimism, a sequel has already been shot and is slated for a 2022 release. Burial Ground MassacreReborn will see Marsden, Gere and Vale return, alongside Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan) and Robert LaSardo (Death Race).
