“I’m almost out of air!”
The Dive–described as a “deep-sea thriller”–is swimming to the big screen and on-demand from RLJE Films this summer. Check out the trailer on this page.
The horror pic–releasing Aug. 25–is directed by Max Erlenwein from a screenplay he wrote with Joachim Heden (Breaking Surface).
In the feature, Louisa Krause and Sophie Lowe star as sisters Drew and May, who find themselves in a sea of trouble. During a dive, a landslide sends rocks tumbling into the ocean, and May is struck and becomes trapped beneath debris, unable to move.
Witnessing this, Drew must put her life in jeopardy in order to save her sister–before time–and May’s air supply–runs out.
Mark Waid of RLJE Films calls The Dive “a suspenseful and thrilling descent into the great unknown. It’s a deep-sea adventure turned living nightmare. We can’t wait to share this film with audiences this summer.”
