The welcome mat is still out.

Welcome to Derry–the Warner Bros. prequel series to the It film franchise based on the Stephen King horror classic–this week rounded up two more cast members, according to a report on Deadline.

Madeleine Stowe (Revenge) and Stephen Rider (Daredevil) have joined the previously announced Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk and James Remar in the series set for a 2024 debut on Max. Character details have yet to be revealed, but Stowe reportedly will have a recurring guest role and Rider will be a series regular.

The series is being developed by Andy and Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs, with Andy Muschietti directing several episodes, including the first.

Welcome to Derry reportedly will be set primarily in the 1960s, and will explore the backstory of Pennywise the Clown and the curse haunting Derry–the Maine town made famous by King’s 1986 novel and the 2017 and 2019 films.

The original It film–directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman–follows the members of The Losers’ Club, a group of seven outcast children who struggle against the evil of Pennywise.
