Daryl is getting company in zombie-infested Paris.

Daryl Dixon–the upcoming AMC spinoff series of The Walking Dead–is already shooting in Paris, with two new leads joining Norman Reedus in the cast, according to a report on Deadline.

Clemence Poesy (The Essex Serpent) and Adam Nagaitis (The Terror) will play opposite Reedus in the series slated to kick off on AMC sometime next year. No exact debut date has been announced.

Little is known about the show–set in post-apocalyptic France–except that Dixon inexplicably winds up on the European continent. “Somehow, I get put there,” Reedus said. “And I don’t go there of my own free will.”

Poesy will play the female lead Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Dixon “on a journey across France, and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris.”

Nagaitis portrays Quinn, described as a “displaced Brit, who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of an underground nightclub called Demimonde.”

More details on the show–led by showrunner David Zabel and executive producer Angela Kang–are expected shortly.
