A horror standout has found a new way to scream.

Neve Campbell–who fans hope will reprise her iconic Sidney Prescott role in Scream 6--has signed on for another genre project, according to a report in Deadline.

Peacock’s upcoming Twisted Metal series–a half-hour horror-comedy based on the popular video games–will see Campbell play Raven opposite Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz and Thomas Haden Church. No release window for the series has yet been announced.

Twisted Metal–led by showrunner and writer Michael Jonathan Smith–follows John Doe (Mackie), “a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life–but only if he can deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland,” according to the logline.

With the help of a car thief (Beatriz), he will face “savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road–including a deranged clown who drives an all-too-familiar ice cream truck.”

The Twisted Metal vehicular combat video game series–published by Sony Computer Entertainment–has been developed by several companies, beginning with SingleTrac in 1995.
