TV Spot For ‘Halloween Ends’ Shows Laurie In Combat Mode

by Thomas Tuna

“He’s just a man who’s about to stop breathing.”

That’s how Laurie Strode describes her longtime nemesis Michael Myers in the latest pulse-pounding TV spot for Halloween Ends, the final chapter in the legendary horror franchise. Check out the brief clip on this page.

Halloween Ends–mere weeks away now–lands in theaters and on Peacock Oct. 14. The much-anticipated film–billed as the last round between Strode and The Shape–follows the ultimate Final Girl (played once again by Jamie Lee Curtis) as she finishes up her memoir while living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak).

But, that quiet is shattered when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, igniting “a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control,” according to the synopsis.

The movie’s final scene, according to James Jude Courtney (once again playing Michael Myers), is “so powerful and so erotic and so loving. This is taking the series–and these characters–to a place they’ve never been before.”

Halloween Ends–directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier–also stars Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, Michael O’Leary and Nick Castle.
