You can only keep the darkness at bay for so long.
Trinket Box–a new horror feature from Anchored Lens Production–will starting filming in Atlanta next month, according to a report on Deadline. No release window has yet been announced.
The film comes from Acorye White (The Seventh Day), who wrote and co-directed the feature (along with Patrycja Kepa), and also stars alongside Augie Duke (Mayans M.C.), Cindy Hogan (Stranger Things) and Sandra Ellis Lafferty (The Hunger Games).
Trinket Box follows a newlywed couple looking to start “a perfect life in a new neighborhood,” according to the synopsis. But, as fate would have it, “their new home is not as perfect as it seems.”
They soon learn that a “historical darkness that has been locked away for years is about to break free and wreak havoc on their relationship–and their lives.”
The film is produced by White and Charles Bridwell, with Anthony Valenzuela and Codie Williams III serving as executive producers.
