Send in the clowns.. the Killer Klowns from Outer Space that is.
Trick or Treat Studios has revealed the first in a new line of action figures called Scream Greats featuring Slim, Fatso and Shorty of Killer Klowns fame. Each figure is 8 inches and is packaged on a backer card with a plastic blister. The first images of the figures can be seen below.
Released in 1998, Killer Klowns from Outer Space follows a group of aliens (that look like clowns) who come to Earth and terrorize a small town. The film, which was written, directed and produced by the Chiodo brothers, earned $43 million at the box office against a budget of only $1.8 million. In the years following it has become a cult classic.
In 2018, Arrow Films released a special edition Blu-Ray which was newly restored, with interviews, documentary featurettes, Klown auditions, bloopers, and more.
