This is one week that doesn’t get everyone’s “seal” of approval.
Shark Week returns on the Discovery Channel (and discovery+) next month with its usual week-long programming focusing on the predators of the deep that we just can’t get enough of. Check out the teaser clip–courtesy of comicbook.com–that gives a quick preview of how a seal might look at this annual event.
This year’s Shark Week–which kicks off July 24–is set for its 34th year with “bigger sharks, bigger breaches and even bigger findings from the teams of dedicated scientists,” according to the logline.
This year’s programs will feature new locations–from the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas to Papau New Guinea. The watery spotlight will focus on innovative shark technology and research aimed at finding breakthrough information on “these elusive creatures and their migration patterns–in addition to the findings of a new, undescribed species.”
