“Louis and Claudia–welcome to our coven.”

Interview with the Vampire–the small-screen adaptation of the 1976 Anne Rice novel–captured the attention of horror fans during its first season, so it’s no surprise that the show will return for Season 2. And a new trailer dropped this week to tease the new chapter. Check out the video on this page.

The second season–reportedly stalled right now due to the ongoing writers’ strike–is currently aiming for a 2024 debut on AMC. So, as always, stay tuned for an exact date.

The eight-episode Season 2–led by showrunner Rolin Jones–stars Jacob Anderson as Louis, Sam Reid as Lestat and introduces Delainey Haynes as she takes over as Claudia from Bailey Bass. Rounding out the cast are Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Assad Zaman as Armand and Ben Daniels as Santiago.

The new season will continue Rice’s epic vampire saga that follows Lestat, Louis and Claudia in a tale of “love, blood and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy.”
