Trailer For ‘Fear’ Brings The Horror Before January Debut

What’s your worst fear?

Fear–a new psychological thriller–will land in theaters in a couple of months, and a trailer and poster have dropped to show horror fans what they have to fear. Check out the video–courtesy of Vibe–on this page.

The horror pic–from writer/director Deon Taylor–hits the big screen Jan. 27, 2023, and follows a group of friends whose weekend vacation goes south in a hurry.

In Fear, each friend must face his or her own worst fear one-by-one, thanks to “a powerful force inside the historic hotel they’ve chosen for their getaway,” according to the synopsis. As the trailer shows, the friends take turns sharing their worst nightmares–unknowingly predicting their own personal doom.

The feature stars Andrew Bachelor, Annie Ilonzeh, Ruby Modine, Iddo Goldberg, Jessica Allain, Tyler Abron and Joseph Sikora. “No other horror film has commented so deeply on how ancient evils can permeate into our souls through a connective emotion–in our case, fear,” Sikora said.

“This movie is grounded in something we haven’t seen in horror–internal fear,” Taylor said. “The fact that if you’re truly afraid of something, your mind could manifest this fear into a state of no return or death. There’s nothing more powerful or frightening than the human mind when it turns dark.”
