Trailer Drops For ‘Stalker’ Before June Premiere

It’s been said you can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends. But that can be a scary proposition as well.

Stalker–a new psycho-horror film from Vertical Entertainment–delves into the sometimes-scary whys and wherefores of friendship, as reported by JoBlo.com. The thriller will be available on-demand starting June 18, but you can get a preview by checking out the trailer below.

The film, according to the official synopsis, follows Andy Escobedo as he tries to start his life anew in the wake of a messy breakup. He relocates to Los Angeles from Houston and, “eager to make new connections, he befriends Roger–an unusual rideshare driver.”

But, as these horror stories seem to play out, “Roger’s behavior gets too strange for comfort and Andy blows him off, choosing to focus on a budding relationship with his new girlfriend Sam. This unhinges Roger, who begins to torment Andy–ensuring that his stay in L.A. is short-lived.”

Stalker–with the ominous tag line, “Good friends are hard to find”–is directed by Tyler Savage (Inheritance), who co-wrote the screenplay with Dash Hawkins. The film stars Christine Ko, Vincent Van Horn and Michael Lee Joplin.
