What would Valentine’s Day be without some broken hearts along the way?
Joe Bob Briggs is celebrating this year’s annual day of romance with Joe Bob’s Heartbreak Trailer Park on Shudder this Friday, Feb. 11 and, to get all the lovers in the proper mood, he released a trailer. Check it out–courtesy of comicbook.com–on this page.
The special will bring “love and a tinge of horror” to Valentine’s Day as Briggs will be joined by The Boulet Brothers–from Shudder’s Dragula–and two other surprise guests to help him host a double-feature that will explore “the heartbreaking side of Valentine’s Day.”
This time last year, Briggs hosted his first Valentine’s Day special. with screenings of Tammy & the T–Rex and The Love Witch. Who knows what terrors will be sprung on his audience this time around in the name of love?
The fourth season of Briggs’ main show–The Last Drive–In with Joe Bob Briggs–will debut later this year. That show started back in 2018 as a one-time, 13-movie marathon, but it proved so popular that Shudder has kept it on the schedule.
