Talk about your vacation from hell…
Infinity Pool–the latest genre entry from writer/director Brandon Cronenberg (Possessor)–will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival before hitting theaters Jan. 27, 2023. Check out the bizarre trailer on this page.
The film stars Alexander Skarsgard (The Northman), Cleopatra Coleman (In the Shadow of the Moon) and Mia Goth (Pearl), along with Jalil Lespert and Amanda Brugel.
In the feature, James (Skarsgard) and Erin (Coleman) are enjoying what seems to be a perfect vacation at an isolated island resort–when things get very weird.
Guided by the mysterious Gabi (Goth), “they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism and untold horror,” according to the synopsis.
And then, “a tragic accident leaves them facing a zero-tolerance policy for crime–either you’re executed or, if you’re rich enough, you can watch yourself die instead.”
