Final Cut--a French remake of the zombie flick One Cut of the Dead–is set to hit theaters next month, and a trailer has arrived to tease the horror-comedy. Check out the video on this page.
The film–described as a “blood-soaked genre farce”–is directed by Michel Hazanavicius, and will land on the big screen July 14.
Set against the backdrop of a failing B-movie shoot, Final Cut finds the director (Romain Duris) struggling to keep the necessary energy going to keep the low-budget zombie pic afloat.
As he tries to inspire jaded technicians and uninterested actors, the shoot is disturbed “by the arrival of authentic undead.”
The cast is rounded out by Berenice Bejo, Matilda Lutz and Finnegan Oldfield.
