Never look at other people on elevators.

Stalker–a horror flick that debuted at last year’s FrightFest–hits theaters and on-demand at the end of the week, and a trailer has dropped that previews the terror to come. Check out the video on this page.

The film–which releases Friday, March 31–is directed by Steve Johnson (Convergence) from a screenplay by Chris Watt. (The Mire). The cast includes Sophie Skelton (Outlander), Stuart Brennan (The Reverend) and pro wrestling legend Bret Hart.

In Stalker, Rose Hepburn–a young horror movie actor–returns to her empty hotel and is forced to use an old freight elevator, which stops unexpectedly on the 12th floor, “trapping her with an unusual stranger,” according to the synopsis.

With no mobile phone signal, tensions escalate and suspicions rise when Hepburn learns the stranger is Daniel Reed, a camera operator on her latest film “who is obsessed with her. As the elevator hangs precariously high, about to plunge at any moment, some harsh truths and actions unfold.”
