Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game–a multiplayer entry based on the 1988 cult horror film–is on its way from IllFonic. Check out the trailer for the game on this page.
The game–which doesn’t yet have a release window–will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. According to the description, the game will continue the battle between the invading Killer Klowns and the citizens of Crescent Cove.
Gamers will be able to assume the role of the Killer Klowns in a team of three players, using unworldly abilities to hunt humans with bizarre weapons and plan your alien invasion. The other side will be a seven-person team of Crescent Cove citizens that explores the city for valuable loot and weapons.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space–written, directed and produced by Stephen and Charles Chiodo–stars Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder and John Allen Nelson. The film follows a group of evil aliens (who resemble clowns) as they invade a small Earth town in order to capture, kill and harvest the inhabitants for food.
The horror-comedy received generally positive reviews from critics and was a box office smash, raking in $43 million on a budget of less than $2 million.
