Trailer Arrives for Glen Danzig’s ‘Death Rider in the House of Vampires’

Rock legend Glen Danzig fuses Spaghetti Westerns with vampire horror in his new film Death Rider in the House of Vampires staring Devon Sawa (Final Destination), Julian Sands (Warlock) and Kim Director (Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2).

Death Rider in the House of Vampires follows the Death Rider (Sawa), a cowboy who travels the desert Vampire Sanctuary ruled by Count Holliday (Sands). In order to pass through, he must pay with one untouched virgin.

The trailer for Death Rider in the House of Vampires, which premiered on the Wrap and can be seen below, has just been released and gives off vibes reminiscent of Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez with a serious Grindhouse feel to it. Danzig has said that: “Everybody in the movie is a vampire. So, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all fucking vampires!”

Death Rider in the House of Vampires features a cast of horror titans with Eli Roth as Drac Cassidy, Ashley Wisdom as Mina Belle, Victor DiMattia as Kid Vlad, Danny Trejo as Bela Latigo, and Danzig himself as the Vampire Gunslinger Bad Bathory. As an extra bonus, word on the street is that horror fans should keep an eye peeled for surprise cameos.

Written and directed by Danzig, with an original soundtrack by him, Death Rider in the House of Vampires is produced by James Cullen Bressack (Beyond the Law). A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
