It’s all about family.
The HBO adaptation of the Naughty Dog video game The Last of Us barrels ahead into its sixth episode next weekend–after Episode 5 aired earlier than usual last night–and a tense trailer for the next chapter can be seen below.
The sixth episode–simply entitled Kin–hits HBO Max next Sunday, Feb. 19, and the clip here shows Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) heading to Wyoming, hoping to find Joel’s kid brother Tommy (Gabriel Luna).
The Last of Us–led by showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann–is set in a dangerous post-apocalyptic world where the Cordyceps fungus has transformed humans into zombie-like creatures. In this nightmarish landscape, Joel is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of a quarantine zone–as monsters lurk around every corner.
The rest of the cast includes Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Lamar Johnson, Kelvonn Woodard, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.
