Tim Burton recently talked to IGN, promoting his newest film, ‘Big Eyes’, and was asked about the long awaited ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel that is currently in the works. His response was “There is a script and I would love to work with [Keaton] again. I think there is now a better chance than ever. I miss that character. There’s something that’s cathartic and amazing about it. I think it’s closer than ever.” Seth Grahame-Smith, who worked with Burton on ‘Dark Shadows’, and David Katzenberg have written the screen play for the sequel, which has been in development for a few years. The original film was released in 1988.
