Ti West’s ‘X’ adds Brittany Snow to Expanding Cast

Like a winter storm, Brittany Snow has been added to the cast of X, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The latest directorial effort of Ti West, Snow joins Mia Goth, Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi, and Jenna Ortega in the upcoming film from entertainment companies A24 and Bron.

West’s directing efforts began with the Connecticut-filmed horror features The House of the Devil and The Innkeepers. He will be both writer and director of X.

Although the story is being kept tightly under wraps, it’s been suggested the plot involves an adult film and the people who are making it. Filming will take place in New Zealand.

No stranger to the horror genre, Snow previously starred in the 2008 remake of Prom Night and 2012’s Would You Rather.

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
