Ti West is slated to direct his latest horror feature X, which is being produced by A24 and BRON Studios. Things seem to be happening quickly as Mia Goth (Suspiria, A Cure for Wellness), Scott Mescudi (Creepshow, Westworld) have officially signed on with Jenna Ortega (Scream 5, You), who is currently in negotiations to join them, according to a report on Deadline.
While details of the film are unknown, we do know West will be penning the storyline. With that said, fans should expect a slow burner like West’s past genre films including The Roost, The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, and The Sacrament.
X will mark West’s return to horror on the big screen (The Sacrament premiered in 2013) as he has spent the last couple of years working on TV horror shows including Outcast, The Exorcist, and Them: Covenant.
