Throwback Horror Feature ‘Dust Bunny’ Filming In Budapest

There’s no age limit for monster hunters.

Dust Bunny–described as a “throwback to the family horror films of the ’80s”–has started filming in Budapest, according to writer/director Bryan Fuller. Check out his Twitter post on this page that shows the filmmaker with star Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) on set.

The Thunder Road film–which does not yet have a release window–is also produced by Fuller, alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. It has also been reported that Alien star Sigourney Weaver has joined the cast.

Dust Bunny tells the story of an eight-year-old girl who asks her neighbor to help her “kill the monster under her bed that she believes ate her family-and she wants revenge,” according to the brief synopsis.
