Thought-Provoking Poster Drops For ‘Becky’ Sequel

by Thomas Tuna

This is one young lady who looks like trouble.

Becky 2: The Wrath of Becky–the follow-up to the 2020 horror hit–still does not yet have a definite debut date (reports have indicated sometime next month, so stay tuned), but a new poster (check it out below) has dropped that shows the young lady means business.

The sequel–written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote–follows Becky (the returning Lulu Wilson), who has been “living off the grid for two years,” according to the brief synopsis. But now, she finds herself “going toe-to-toe against Darryl (Seann William Scott)–the leader of a fascist organization–on the eve of an attack.”

Wilson and Scott are joined in the cast by Courtney Gains, Aaron Della Villa, Michael Strow, Denise Burse-Fernandez, Jill Larson and Kate Siegel.

In the original Becky–directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Nick Morris and Lane Skye–the teen tries to reconnect with her father (Joel McHale) during a weekend getaway at a lakefront house, but convicts on the run–led by the merciless Dominick (Kevin James)–invade the house.
