Listen up–you’re outta here.
They Listen–a horror entry with an impressive pedigree from Blumhouse and Sony–has just lost its place in the long line of movies waiting to hit the big screen.
The feature had originally been slated for release this summer–Aug. 25–and was then bumped back to Aug. 30, 2024. Now, bowing to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, it’s no longer listed on Sony’s upcoming line-up at all.
The film–from writer/director Chris Weitz–stars Katherine Waterston, John Cho, Wyatt Lindner, Havana Rose Liu, Ben Youcef, Keith Carradine, Greg Hill, Riki Lindhomme and Lukita Maxwell. No plot details have yet been revealed.
Weitz also produced the movie, along with Jason Blum and Andrew Miano–with Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings and Paul Davis serving as executive producers.
