Don’t play in the woods, kids.

There’s Something Wrong with the Children–one of eight horror features made by Blumhouse Productions exclusively for MGM+–will release on digital and on-demand Jan. 17, 2023 and then hit MGM+ March 17.

The film–directed by Roxanne Benjamin (Body at Brighton Rock) from a screenplay by T.J. Cimfel and David White–stars Alisha Wainwright, Zach Gilford, Amanda Crew, Carlos Santos, Briella Guiza and David Mattle.

The feature follows Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) as they take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle), according to the synopsis.

But, before long, the vacation jaunt turns spooky. Ben “begins to suspect something supernatural is taking place when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.”

Jason Blum, Josh Reinhold, Jeremy Gold and Chris McCumber serve as the film’s executive producers.
