‘There’s Someone Inside Your House’ Slashes Onto Netflix

by Thomas Tuna

There’s nothing like a new cut-em-up movie to make it really feel like October.

Netflix plans to lead up to Halloween with a new horror flick every week this month, and the streamer is leading off with the slasher There’s Someone Inside Your House, as reported by comicbook.com.

The film–directed by Patrick Brice (Creep) from a screenplay by Henry Gayden (Shazam!)–is adapted from the 2017 novel by Stephanie Perkins. And it boasts other strong genre pedigrees behind the camera, with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen (Stranger Things) and James Wan (SawInsidious, The Conjuring) as producers.

There’s Someone Inside Your House follows Makani Young as she moves from Hawaii to a small town in Nebraska to live with her grandmother and finish high school. But, as the countdown to her graduation begins, her classmates are stalked by “a killer intent on exposing their darkest secrets” and who terrorizes victims “while wearing a lifelike mask of their own face,” according to the official synopsis.

The film stars Sydney Park (The Walking Dead), Theodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, Diego Josef, Burkely Duffield, Sarah Dugdale, William MacDonald, Andrew Dunbar and Markian Tarasiuk.
