She’s not your typical 16-year-old. Especially when you muck about with her dog.
The Wrath of Becky–the sequel to the 2020 horror hit Becky–will hit theaters in three weeks, and the official poster dropped this week that teases the teen’s connection to her dog, Diego. Check it out on this page.
Set for a theatrical release May 26, the sequel is written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote. Lulu Wilson again leads the cast in the titular role, alongside Seann William Scott, Courtney Gains, Aaron Della Villa, Michael Strow, Denise Burse-Fernandez, Jill Larson and Kate Siegel.
Picking up a couple of years after Becky escaped a violent attack on her family, the film finds the teenager trying to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman named Elena. But a group known as the Noble Men ruin all that.
The men break into their home and steal their beloved Diego, forcing Becky to “return to her old ways to protect herself and her loved ones.”
The original Becky–directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Nick Morris and Lane Skye–follows the young girl as she tries to reconnect with her father during a weekend getaway at a lakefront house. But a different band of bad guys destroys those plans.
