The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – “Here’s Not Here”

Synopsis: A new face and setting are introduced. With all that’s gone on in the apocalypse, can people be trusted?

Thoughts: **SPOILERS** So after last week’s non-stop jaw dropping episode, what did The Walking Dead deliver fans this week? We got a look at Morgan’s journey.  This means that for all you die-hard fans waiting to see if Glenn pops out of a dumpster… you will just have to sit through more AMC commercials and wait until next week.   While the episode was well done and very well acted by Lenny James and John Carroll Lynch, we will have to see if Morgan’s backstory is that pivotal to the storyline to warrant a 90 minute episode.  But really, who better to counsel a traumatized and psychotic Morgan to Zen than Twisty the clown?

The folks behind The Walking Dead have slowed down the pace before in other seasons. However, last night was a bit of a detour and trip back in time. Not a bad episode, but for the hardcore fans, it may have felt  like AMC  dangling the carrot and stick in front of them to  keep the herd of viewers in place, still glued to the show before they reveal Glenn’s fate.

Will next week reveal if Rick and the rest of the crew made it back to Alexandria alive?  Will Morgan ultimately regress back to his psychotic state?  Will the wolves keep coming?  How many more car commercials will Matthew McConaughey make?

Stay Tuned…
