Synopsis: The Governor chases a dissenter who fled Woodbury. While the Governor is gone, a traitor tries to sabotage his upcoming plans.
Our Thoughts: As another episode begins, we see the Governor preparing what looks to be a torture chamber which he hopes that Michonne will soon fill.
Andrea finally decides that she has to kill The Governor to save her friends. She has yet another chance, but she doesn’t pull the trigger. After being disarmed, she decides to make a long, long, LONG run for it to reunite with Rick’s group. Along the way, she encounters three zombies and proves extremely lucky to survive, along with showing how her survival skills have developed since the first season. However, the Governor proves relentless in his pursuit of the last blonde girl on earth. Through fields, woods and abandoned warehouses, the one-eyed maniac refuses to give up.
What seems to be a long and boring episode takes a sinister, yet exciting, turn inside an abandoned warehouse. A cornered Andrea manages to turn the tables on the Governor and escape…or so it seems. (The unleashes of a roomful of walkers on him was brilliant). Shortly thereafter, the Governor nabs Andrea, just as she has the prison in sight. She, not Michonne, becomes the plaything in the torture chamber.
The episode was pretty dull until the last twenty minutes. Thankfully it picked up. What was cooler than the charred zombies in the pit?!?
