Synopsis: Rick, Daryl and Hershel embark on a high stakes mission.
Our Thoughts: We are treated to another solid opening to The Walking Dead as Rick, Daryl and Hershel (what?) head out for an unknown mission. It soon becomes apparent that Andrea has set up a meeting between Rick and The Governor to “work things out.”.  Imagine being face to face with a person that plans to kill you, your friends and your children and you DON’T pull the trigger? C’mon Rick!

While the head honchos are inside, we finally get to see a human side to The Governor’s men. Hershel bonds with Milton and Daryl has some quality time with Caeser. My guess is eventually these men will be shooting at each other.

Meanwhile back at the prison, Merle and Glenn fight it out. Then Glenn gets to make out with Maggie. Here’s a guy who reaps the benefits of slim pickens, getting action during a zombie apocalypse on a regular basis!

The end result of this long meeting is the The Governor giving Rick an ultimatum. He delivers Michonne, and this war can be avoided. The two plan get together in a few days and finalize their decisions. Rick tells his squad that the Governor wants the prison (not Michonne) and that they are going to war. The Governor is up to no good as well (of course) as he plans to kill them all anyway.

Let’s hope for some action next week.

Time to turn the channel The Talking Dead is on.
